Rental Considerations

  1. All payments must be done electronically through the following link: https://cityofknowledge-bloom.kindful.com/ Please choose "Private Programs" from the dropdown menu.
  2. No food or drinks are allowed in the Main Hall.
  3. Please adhere to the timings of your event, this includes set up and clean up. Events beyond 5 hours including set up and clean up will have an added fee.
  4. Ensure the event is following all Islamic guidelines, including but not limited to, the use of music, ensuring halal food, Islamic dress code, and avoiding free-mixing without proper Islamic dress code. Please keep in mind that this is a Masjid setting, and all aspects of the event should uphold Islamic principles.
  5. Common Areas such as the lobby, stairwell and other places not specified in your booking may still be used during your event. Please ensure you are using your event space booked only. The Main Lobby entrance on the brothers and sisters side will be maintained as a general entrance for access to the building for events or meetings not in use by your private booking.
  6. For emergencies, call 911. For building, tech, or program related operations, please call Br. Ali Mustafa: 469-536-6995
  7. This booking is authorized for this event only, this cannot be used to sublet the booking to another individual.
  8. Please ensure consideration of noise when using the property in the outside area.
  9. Please do not use any of the supplies at CFK. Please plan to have your own supplies available.
  10. Only individuals directly involved in the event (such as the bride, groom, or their parents), may use their membership status to benefit from the discount. We ask for your cooperation and acting in good faith in this regard. Private programs help fund the center's operations.
  11. Please be aware that CFK is not responsible for any medical issues or emergencies that may arise during your booking.
  12. In the scenario where there is damage inflicted on any portion of the facility, or items belonging to CFK, the booking party will bear full responsibility to cover all expenses necessary as deemed by CFK.
  13. CFK is happy to share a list of vendors that we work with upon request.

Tech Considerations

  1. For technology issues which arise during an event, if the issue is able to be resolved remotely, we will try our best to get it sorted. However, there is no guarantee that technology will work for your event, nor will we be able to fix it if it does not work during the event. CFK will not be able to record or broadcast your event.
  2. If you're using the main hall stage, please ensure no decorations or items are leaning on the LED screen, that people or kids are not touching or playing with the physical screen, or any risk of damage occurs to the screen.
  3. Ensure all tech equipment is placed back in its proper setting at the conclusion of the event with photos taken and shared with the private program coordinator for documentation purposes.

Wrapping Up Considerations

Please be aware that any items left behind or any areas left unorganized will incur a fee.

All groups are responsible for leaving spaces in the same condition as they found them. A slideshow with photos of how all used areas should look will be provided to you prior to your event. Make sure to review the provided slides, restore all areas to their original condition before departure, and share photos of the finalized cleanup with the event coordinator.

  • Empty all trash into the dumpster bin behind the building and replace trash bags. (Send photo to coordinator)
  • Stack chairs back at the back of the hall. (Send photo to coordinator)
  • Return all tables and furniture to their original positions and make sure all table tops are clean. Using the covers for the cafe tables will make cleaning up much easier. (Send photo to coordinator)

Refund Policy

All cancellations must be submitted directly to the Private Program Coordinator. If a booking is canceled prior to the scheduled facility walkthrough, it is expected that 5% of the total event cost be contributed to City of Knowledge to cover booking and administrative expenses. If a booking is canceled after the facility walkthrough has been completed, it is expected that 10% of the total event cost be contributed to City of Knowledge to cover booking and administrative expenses.
